I've been self-employed most of my adult life, so I know what it means to run a business without a big team, a big budget, or a big safety net. You figure things out, you wear every hat, and you make it work — or it doesn't.
I'm a West Virginian through and through. Born and raised in Kanawha County, educated at WVU, and planted in the Greenbrier Valley since 1979. My mom's family was from Western Greenbrier County. My dad came from Pocahontas County. I raised my kids here, reinvented myself job-wise two or three times here, and I'll probably die here one of these days. That's not a complaint. That's a choice I've made over and over again.
I've watched West Virginians get underestimated my whole life. And I've watched good local businesses get left behind — paying too much for too little from vendors who don't know them, don't care about them, and won't pick up the phone when something breaks. That's what Mike Sheridan Digital exists to fix.
The technology that used to cost a small business a small fortune — professional web design, AI tools, business automation — is accessible now. The playing field has leveled. My job is to help WV businesses take advantage of that, without the runaround or the jargon.
When I'm not working, you'll find me on the Greenbrier River in a kayak, walking the trail, tending my garden, or chasing my grandkids. I live here. I care what happens here. And I'd love to help your business grow here.
These aren't values written by a marketing team. They're how I run every engagement.
I'd rather say something plainly than sound impressive. You should always know exactly what I'm doing and why.
You work with me, not a team of subcontractors. The person you hire is the person who does the work.
Beautiful work that doesn't convert or function well is just decoration. Everything I build has a goal.
If you don't need something, I'll tell you. I'd rather keep a long-term client than upsell something unnecessary.
I'm tool-agnostic — I use what works best for your project, not whatever I'm most comfortable with.
The best projects start with a conversation. Tell me what you're working on.
